Jewish Academy Hosts Golf Tournament
MAITLAND, FL -- The Jewish Academy of Orlando will host its 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Alaqua Country Club. Registration will begin at 8:45 a.m.
followed by a shotgun start at 9:45 a.m.
The annual fundraiser benefits the Maitland-area private school’s financial assistance program.
“Playing the majestic and unspoiled course at Alaqua Country Club is a privilege usually reserved for members and guests only, which is a big draw for our tournament
players this year,” said Dirk Arace, a parent of the Jewish Academy and chair of the event. The tournament is also being planned by Paula Wyatt of Posh Able Events.
The tournament costs $125 for a single entry and $500 for a foursome, which includes green fees, a cart, breakfast, lunch, practice balls, giveaways, drinks, snacks,
and an award ceremony with raffle prizes.
Sponsorships are also available, which would provide interested businesses with exposure to event attendees and the parent body, including visibility on promotional
materials, publicity, and tournament day handouts.
